About alcstackdev

Independent mobile app studio

alcstackdev builds small, focused mobile apps for iOS and Android. You can see them on the apps page: Raid Alarm, Waken and Calla.

How we share our apps on social media

We promote our apps with short videos on social platforms, including TikTok. To plan these videos in advance, we run a private scheduling tool (an installation of the open-source Postiz software) at postiz.alcstackdev.com. It is operated only by alcstackdev and is not open to the public.

How the TikTok connection works

The account owner signs in with TikTok (TikTok Login Kit) and approves the permissions on TikTok's own screen. The tool then shows which account is connected, lets the owner prepare a video and its caption, and sends it to TikTok with the Content Posting API: either as a draft in the owner's TikTok inbox or as a post with the visibility, comment, duet and stitch options the owner has chosen. Nothing is sent to TikTok without the owner preparing it first. We do not add watermarks or branding to videos.

The owner can disconnect the account at any time in the tool or from TikTok's settings. Details on the data involved are in our Privacy Policy, and the rules for using the tool are in our Terms of Service.
